Auckland’s Civic packed for ‘River of Freedom’ premiere

The highly anticipated feature documentary premiered in Auckland last night.

Premiere showings are also planned for Christchurch (tonight – Hoyts at Westfield Riccarton), Wellington (tomorrow – Embassy Theatre, Mt. Victoria). Reports on social media say those shows have also sold out, despite a legacy media ‘blackout’.

It will be released nationwide on Friday.

Sharing the inside story of the New Zealand Convoy and Parliament protest in February and March 2022—who the people were, why they were there, and what happened

After 23 days, the New Zealand Police ambush the protestors in a dawn raid, forcibly clearing everyone using methods never seen before in Aotearoa. Nevertheless, the peace, love & kotahitanga (unity) shared by the protestors, as well as their supporters, will be forever remembered, as will the injustices of this time.

River of Freedom is made by professional filmmakers, present during the convoy and occupation, to document the heart of the protest—the largest protest in New Zealand’s recent history.

  1. Love all these people! Wish I could have been there. Now imagine if we can get ALL freedom people together to Unite for the next election. By that time we will have woken up many other sheeple. Time to do away with this undemocratic electoral system.

We get the BOR embedded, get a constitution, elect people who are accountable and truly representative and if not they are stood down. None of this political party stuff, just individual representatives. Switzerland has a good system and I do believe Gaddafi had a reasonable system that put a lot of decision making back to local representatives (believe it or not, but we have all been fed lies about him too)
