I get the protestors’ frustrations with the failing health system, but these egregious budget overuns when public money is involved have got to stop somewhere.

If only these people would realise the health system is corrupt and not about making you better – look after your body don’t eat rubbish food, grow it if you can so you don’t have to be tempted. Make your own sweets! Not only will you save lots of money! Less Dr visits, you’ll feel better and less chance of dis ease. Get your gut healthy! Lots of natural health instructions on you tube!

Maybe the government can purchase new ferries that double as hospital ships???
Noting like having one’s surgery while passing thru the sounds…

One of the reasons that the new hospital build being cancelled is due to the die-off of the vaxxed public. As the population drops off from Covid-vaxxed deaths, the need for a new hospital also dwindles. Would-be patients would be deceased from bot-clots, myocardidis / heart attacks, strokes, etc.
Based on World War Three coming to a neighbourhood near us, NZDF Surgeons and Doctors will need more experience.
Hence, the MoH and MoD should set-up Triage tents on hospital grounds, and clear the back-log of patients awaiting surgeries.
There is also plenty of commercial space up for lease / rent where temporary clinics and outpatient surgeries can be performed.
Outpatient treatments, surgery lists, and exam / MRI / CT / X-ray services can be performed in other locations, as noted with the new clinics, services etc. using the Palmerston North model of health care taking place off of hospital grounds. This has lessened the crowding at the hospital itself, and provides for a more thorough and quality service.
When hospitals are undermanned, understaffed, and overworked, mistakes happen.
Offering some of those services off-location lessens the chance for mistakes, and creates greater focus.
That is why the PNCC has always granted consents for new health care services and clinics. Branching out and diversifying overall healthcare services lessens the overcrowding, and the environment it creates!
The financial state of the government is due to the attempts at WEF / WHO compliance, and the International Banksters via the IMF / World Bank, of which one former Zionist Bankster became PM of NZ and then later resigned to go to ANZ and elsewhere.
Once these people have pimped the NZ population, they then leave to go feed off of other hosts being the political parasites that they are!

The actual trouble is that there remains the sickness of the multitude that will ostensibly require attention over the next decade or more, as the shots continue and the somnambulant line up, unless those that perpetrate and instigate the medical, bureaucratic and political insanity are stopped, removed and brought to account and justice.
