Trump promises key roles for Musk and Kennedy

Kennedy - Musk - Trump news

Donald Trump has announced that, if elected, he would give influential roles to Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., with each assigned to initiatives aligned with their expertise.

Speaking at a campaign event in Arizona with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Trump confirmed his plans for the two figures.

Musk, a recent Trump supporter, would focus on reducing government spending through a “government efficiency” commission, dubbed DOGE, where he aims to cut $2 trillion from the federal budget without affecting services.

Trump expressed confidence in Musk’s commitment to “saving the country” through targeted cost reductions.

For Kennedy, who ran as an independent before endorsing Trump, the focus would be on healthcare initiatives.

Trump praised Kennedy’s health advocacy and envisions him as a senior adviser on health, potentially helping to appoint key agency leaders and form a panel of experts to address rising chronic health issues in the U.S.
