FEMA employee allegedly ordered relief workers to avoid Trump-supporting homes

FEMA - Trump news

The Daily Wire reported that a FEMA supervisor, Marn’i Washington, allegedly instructed relief workers to skip hurricane-affected homes displaying pro-Trump signs in Florida’s Highlands County.

Citing internal communications and anonymous employee accounts, the report claimed that Washington issued verbal and written guidelines suggesting it was “best practice” to avoid these properties following the landfall of Hurricane Milton in October, one of the most destructive hurricanes recorded in west-central Florida.

FEMA has since acknowledged the allegations, confirming that they are conducting a thorough investigation and promising accountability.

According to the report, at least 20 homes marked with Trump signs were bypassed, potentially preventing these households from qualifying for government aid.

The Daily Wire included screenshots of FEMA’s internal system marking certain homes as “no contact per leadership” based on their pro-Trump signs.

Although Washington has reportedly walked back her instructions, denying that homes were skipped, FEMA has since transferred Washington to a different location.

  1. The woman responsible has been fired. Despicable. She’d be the sort to lock up her huha for all, I’m sure no one would be interested anyway. Goodbye.

  2. Once you have a system that uses your race/religion/ideology/politics to decide if you get food/water/aid then you have a real problem, and your country is in a descent into conflict.
