Donald Trump named TIME’s Person of the Year for 2024

In recognition of his significant influence on global affairs, Donald Trump has once again been named TIME’s “Person of the Year” for 2024, following his first nomination in 2016.

The acknowledgment celebrates Trump’s remarkable political resurgence, showcasing his ability to shape both American and international politics.

To honour the accolade Trump will ceremonially ring the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange.
