Former church youth leader and ex-Air New Zealand employee Sese Vimahi, known in the criminal underworld as “Preacher” and the “Tongan Pablo,” has had his prison sentence extended after orchestrating a second methamphetamine smuggling operation while on bail.
Already serving 14 years and seven months for recruiting corrupt baggage handlers to smuggle drugs through Auckland Airport, Vimahi continued trafficking meth, leading to an additional sentence of two years and five months.
His total prison term now stands at 17 years and three months, with a minimum of six years and ten months before parole eligibility.
