Reinstated Silver Ferns coach Dame Noeline Taurua says she still does not know why she was stood down by Netball New Zealand six weeks ago and confirmed no investigation has taken place since.
Speaking to the Mike Hosking Breakfast, Taurua described the process as “horrific” and said she was never informed of the player complaints that led to her removal.
Netball New Zealand last week reinstated Taurua after determining her integrity remained sound, though she will not rejoin the team until next year and will miss the upcoming Northern Tour of Scotland and England to “minimise disruption.”
Taurua said she has legal representation to clarify the matter and insisted she maintains player support and stands by the team’s environment and culture.

I know sport is sacrosanct in nz but ‘horrific’? c’mon, that’s a word used to describe mass slaughter, hurricane damage, pack rape etc.
