Local authorities on the island of Ceuta have begged Madrid for military reinforcements to handle the surge.
Thousands of north African migrants have broken into the Spanish exclave of Ceuta from Morocco. Regional authorities have pleaded with Spain’s socialist government to send in the military, but Madrid has refused.
Groups of migrants began swimming around the border fence separating Ceuta from Morocco earlier this week, but the trickle became a surge on Thursday when a large group overwhelmed border guards and broke through the fence.
The head of Ceuta’s regional government estimated that up to 2,000 people had arrived by midday on Thursday, overcrowding reception centers and creating “a humanitarian and social emergency.” The majority of the arrivals are young men, the Associated Press reported.
Video footage shared on social media showed hordes of migrants cheering as they poured into the Spanish territory by land and sea.

Ceuta’s mayor-president, Juan Jesus Vivas, called on the Spanish government to declare a national emergency and deploy police officers and soldiers at the border. The Spanish Interior Ministry, however, said that it does not consider migration to be an emergency.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez – who legalized 500,000 illegal immigrants earlier this year – offered an ambiguous response. “We are mobilizing all necessary resources… and preparing the necessary measures to restore normalcy as soon as possible,” he wrote on social media. “This is the moment to build solutions, with responsibility and cooperation.”

Ceuta is not an island. It is a Spanish enclave on the coast of Morocco with a big fence around it.
Can any one tell me why these men – only young men – swarm towards the west? Do they intend to live as monks for the rest of their lives? Could they not find a female partner in their own country? Are these men excess males from countries that have practised sex selective abortion for the past fifty years?
Then when they arrive in the western countries they immediately start doing bad things – violent, murderous and religiously based – which they know do not endear them to the people in the new country.
The leaders of western countries must know they are creating an imbalance of the male to female ratio, but if they expected the women in the western countries to partner these men they are wrong. It won’t happen. Why would women choose a foreign language, religion, and a so obviously foreign looking male over their own countrymen and have children who do not even look like her? If this did happen, then what would the men native to the country do? Are they supposed to just fade away? Or turn gay?
Is rape going to be legalised and abortion criminalised? Because that is the only way such a dreadful plan could be brought into realisation. Forced breeding with rapists and murderers. Is that it?
I just don’t believe these foreign men are going to bring over their wives and/or children once they are granted leave to remain.
So why is it happening?
