All Blacks crush Bulls in Pretoria

The All Blacks produced their most convincing performance of their South African tour, overwhelming the Bulls 50-19 at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria ahead of next weekend’s first test against the Springboks.

Dave Rennie’s side dominated the physical exchanges, breakdown and gainline, racing to a 24-0 halftime advantage through two tries each from Codie Taylor and Josh Moorby before finishing with eight tries.

Anton Segner delivered a man-of-the-match performance, while Moorby strengthened his claim for a starting role and returning prop Tyrel Lomax bolstered the scrum.

Despite facing a Bulls side missing several Springboks, New Zealand’s improved set piece, maul defence and counterattack provided an encouraging final tune-up before facing the world champions at Ellis Park.
