Justin Bieber forced to cancel shows due to rare facial paralysis condition

Pop icon Justin Bieber has been forced to cancel a number of concerts in his upcoming European tour due to a rare medical condition.

Bieber took to his Instagram account yesterday to post a video to fans explaining he has Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.

In the three minute video he said:

As you can probably see from my face I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. It attacks the nerve in my ear and facial nerves, and has caused my face to have paralysis.

As you can see my eye’s not blinking, I can’t smile on this side of my face, this nostril will not move.

So for everybody frustrated by the cancellation of my upcoming shows, I’m just not physically capable of doing them.

It’s pretty serious as you can see. I wish this wasn’t the case. Obviously my body’s telling me I gotta slow down. I hope you guys understand.

  1. its great to hear people say that we need the vaccine to end the pandemic – BUT the vaccine does not stop transmission / infection so by definition it cannot stop the pandmic. Instead it looks like it has triggered a new pandemic of rare conditions. How many rare conditions need to be triggered before people start asking why this is happening. Add up all of these rare conditions instead of looking at them in isolation.
