U.S. actor and improvisational comedian Pat Finn, known for his appearances across some of television’s most popular sitcoms, has died aged 60 after a battle with cancer.
Finn passed away at his Los Angeles home, having been treated since 2022, with his family remembering him as someone who lived with “joy and exuberance” and never met a stranger.
His career spanned decades, with roles in hit shows including Friends, Seinfeld, Murphy Brown, and The Middle, where he was best known for playing Bill Norwood across eight seasons.
Beyond acting, Finn was a dedicated improv performer, teacher, and mentor, serving as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado and inspiring countless students.
