Actress Jenna Fischer, best known for her role as Pam Beesly in The Office (US), has revealed that she has been undergoing treatment for breast cancer since December of last year.
After a routine scan in October 2023, Fischer was diagnosed with stage 1 triple-positive breast cancer.
Although the cancer was aggressive, it was caught early, and she has since undergone surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Now cancer-free, Fischer shared her journey on Instagram, urging others to prioritise their health by checking for early signs. She said it was important to have routine scans, crediting her early diagnosis with preventing a much worse outcome.
