McCullough slams ‘global deception’ shaping major crises

Deception and global crises

US medical expert and prominent COVID policy critic Dr Peter McCullough has outlined what he describes as a global pattern of “deception” influencing major political, medical and social issues, in a wide-ranging interview discussing the legacy of the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

McCullough said that early pandemic responses involved suppression of treatments and coordinated promotion of vaccination, alongside what he characterises as institutional control over public messaging. Dissenting voices were marginalised across media and medical sectors, while raising concerns about ongoing research into alleged ‘long COVID’ and vaccine-related effects, including his own treatment approach.

Expanding beyond the ‘pandemic’, McCullough argues similar patterns of narrative control can be seen in global issues such as conflicts, border policies and climate debates, suggesting crises are exaggerated or shaped to influence public perception and policy. He contends that governments and institutions have increasingly prioritised messaging over transparency, contributing to declining public trust. McCullough believes greater independent verification and accountability are needed to restore confidence in public institutions.
