Police and pro-freedom protesters clashed in The Hague, Netherlands shortly following the announcement of strict anti-COVID-19 measures.
Police had to deploy a water cannon to break up a ‘sitdown action’. The Hague has been the location of many anti-lockdown protests over the last few weeks.
The latest protest was in response to measures announced by caretaker Prime Minister Mark Rutte, which include no crowds at sports matches, social distancing recommendations, and no more that four people over the age of 13 in each household.
