Bowel cancer ‘tsunami’ becomes leading cause of death in US under 50s

Bowel cancer rates skyrocket worldwide

Experts have warned of a “tsunami” of bowel cancer cases after new research found the disease has become the leading cause of cancer deaths among people aged 20 to 49, with diagnoses rising by around three per cent each year and 158,850 new cases and 55,230 deaths predicted in the US in 2026.

Research published by the American Cancer Society (ACS) this month found that the disease is killing people aged between 20 and 49 years old at unprecedented rates.

The study shows colorectal cancer is “killing people… at unprecedented rates,” with deaths increasing steadily since 2004 and rectal cancer now accounting for a growing share of cases.

Researchers say it “can no longer be called an old person’s disease,” with similar trends seen in Britain, Australia and Canada, where diagnoses in younger adults have also surged.

Experts appear to be baffled by the increase, pointing to the role of improved detection and population growth play a role, and factors such as diet, environmental exposures and the microbiome, warning that “more adults under 50 may be getting cancer than ever before” and calling for urgent research to understand and prevent the rise.

  1. The experts refuse to face the elephant in the room. They point blank refuse to ask the question whether the jab is linked. .

  2. Doctors baffled yet again. And the blinkers remain permanently attached and compulsory blindness leads the profession into the abyss. Meanwhile, deaths from multiple causes go unanswered when we common folk know the cause. How long will this insanity last… 😢

  3. Paid off ‘Doctors’ baffled yet again, as the Corporate State allows poisons to be introduced into our Atmosphere, Water, Food and Pharmaceuticals, and forced into our bodies by ‘baffled’ Doctors.

  4. Deaths from rectal cancer have been increasing since 2004. Before the jab.
The article state rates are rising in the age group 20 – 49. The stock photograph of a woman is misleading. A photograph of a male would have led to a different assumption of cause. What is needed is a breakdown of male/female stats.
My rough guess would be the cause is an increase in anal sex. Just as the increase in oral sex is causing the rise in throat and liver cancer. All in the group most likely to be sexually active.

  5. How about instead of the above comment… it’s linked to the use of glyphosate in/on our most consumed foods, antibiotic use in dairy, antibiotic/pharmaceutical use in humans, stevia/alt sugars, gmo grains, gmo yeast, gmo soy, high sugar intake ect. which all effect our microbiome in ways we are clearly unaware. Un-natural chemical imbalances inside our gut.
