A Buckingham Palace maid was arrested following a chaotic staff Christmas party at a bar in Victoria Street, London.
The 24-year-old reportedly became aggressive, smashing glasses and aiming a punch at the manager, prompting police to intervene.
Earlier, the group of 50 Palace staff had enjoyed drinks at the Palace without incident before continuing the festivities at ‘All Bar One’.
The maid was arrested for common assault, criminal damage, and being drunk and disorderly, spending the night in custody before being fined.
Buckingham Palace has pledged a thorough investigation and disciplinary action following the incident.
