Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been accused in a new civil lawsuit of raping a 16-year-old babysitter in New York City more than two decades ago.
The woman, identified as Jane Doe claims she encountered Combs while leaving a babysitting job in Lower Manhattan in late 2000.
According to the lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Combs, who was dating Jennifer Lopez at the time, allegedly lured the high school student into his car with promises of a safe ride home but instead took her to another location where the assault reportedly occurred.
After the incident, she was driven back to her building by Combs’ employees.
Combs’ legal team has denied these allegations, asserting his innocence and the reliability of the judicial process to clear his name.
This lawsuit follows federal sex trafficking charges against Combs, with his trial scheduled for May.
