US mortuary worker accused of “experimenting on corpses” and faking death certificates

Adeline Ngan-Binh Bui news

Adeline Ngan-Binh Bui, a 50-year-old former employee of Capital Mortuary Services (CMS) in North Austin, USA, has been charged with abusing a corpse and tampering with governmental records after allegedly experimenting on severed human arms and fraudulently obtaining death certificates.

According to court documents, Bui injected formaldehyde into dismembered limbs and monitored the effects, later cremating the remains without proper authorisation.

A former embalmer at the mortuary reported that his credentials were used without permission to file at least ten certificates.

The mortuary has since been shut down by authorities for health and safety violations, while Bui’s legal team urges against sensationalising the case, insisting on her right to due process.
