London train knife attack caught on camera

Warning: Disturbing video. Viewer discretion is advised.

A shocking knife attack on a London train has been filmed and shared widely on social media. The video shows a man in a dark coloured hooded puff jacket with face mask repeatedly stabbing another passenger.

The incident was said to have occured on the Victoria Line, between Shortlands and Beckenham.

A frantic female passenger can be heard contacting emergency services on her phone.

Popular X (Twitter) profile Concerned Citizen (@BGatesIsaPyscho) reluctantly shared footage of the incident, saying that while he hated these sorts of videos, it was important for Britons and the world to see, ‘how quickly our society is degrading beyond all recognisability’.

GB News presenter Darren Grimes tweeted, ‘A busy train to London in broad daylight, a bloke with a MASSIVE knife going at a seriously injured person. Everyone sits there cool as a cucumber. It’s mad how desensitised London now is to this lawlessness.’

Knife attacks have surged 49% since current mayor Sadiq Khan took office in 2017.

In response authorities have adopted a multi-faceted approach that includes targeting lawbreakers, supporting the Metropolitan Police Service with increased funding, enhanced patrols, and expanded stop and search powers in high-risk areas. Specific actions have include Operation Winter Nights, which resulted in over 900 arrests and the confiscation of numerous weapons, including knives and firearms. Each London borough has developed a bespoke knife crime action plan in partnership with the Metropolitan Police, but the success of these measures remains to be seen. Rampant illegal immigration has also been blamed for the rise, although the ethnicity of perpetrator in this case has yet to be established.
