A cyclist in outback Australia was lucky to escape with minor injuries after a collision with a wild kangaroo.
Video of the accident went viral on social media, as the cyclist, who was part of a larger group, is seen moving at a relatively gentle speed when out of nowhere a giant marsupial appears. The speed of its appearance made it impossible for the cyclist to take evasive action to miss the animal, and the collision was unavoidable.
While the cyclist ended up being pushed off their bike the kangaroo appeared to suffer no injuries and ran off into the bush.
