World gone mad: U.K. National Trust installs vegan tampons in male toilets

The National Trust has been slammed after placing vegan tampons in the male toilets at Sizergh Castle in the Lake District, leaving visitors puzzled.

The complimentary products, supplied by ‘sustainable brand’ Dame, were part of a partnership promoting “period dignity” and “inclusivity”.

However, critics, including Sex Matters CEO Maya Forstater, accused the Trust of misinterpreting the law and violating privacy by blurring single-sex boundaries.

The controversy follows a Supreme Court ruling reaffirming biological sex as the legal definition of “woman.” The National Trust said it aims to “balance inclusivity with compliance” and is reviewing its policies to align with equality law.
