Police investigating an incident involving the painting over of the rainbow pedestrian crossing on Karangahape Road in central Auckland have arrested a 31-year-old man.
Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Allan from Auckland City CIB announced the arrest this morning, stating that extensive inquiries led to the arrest.
The man is scheduled to appear in the Auckland District Court on April 15, 2024.
Police are still seeking three other individuals believed to be involved and are also searching for a vehicle of interest.
