‘As soon as shots were fired he ran the other way’: Veterans accuse Walz of ‘stolen valor’

Tim Walz stolen valor news

Retired Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Behrends and other veterans who served with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz have accused him of exaggerating his military service and abandoning his unit before they deployed to Iraq in 2005.

In an interview on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle Behrends criticised Walz, who is now Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate, for misleading the public by claiming a rank he never held and suggesting he experienced combat, despite never serving in an active war zone.

Behrends and fellow veteran Tom Schilling labelled Walz’s actions as “dishonorable,” alleging he left his unit in the lurch and used his embellished military record to advance his political career.

The controversy intensified after Harris announced Walz as her running mate for the 2024 Democratic ticket, prompting scrutiny of Walz’s military credentials.

Despite Walz’s campaign defending his service record, the veterans’ accusations have raised serious questions about his credibility.

Behrends asserted that most of their fellow soldiers are against Walz’s embellishments, urging him to stop portraying himself as a higher-ranking officer and misleading the public about his military service.

The accusations against Walz are not new – since 2009 he has been confronted by veterans over his military service claims.

Falsely claiming battle service and military honours is a serious crime in the United States.

The Stolen Valor Act of 2013 makes it a federal crime for individuals to falsely claim they have received military honours or decorations with the intent to gain money, property, or other tangible benefits. This law, enacted after the 2005 version was ruled unconstitutional, specifically targets fraudulent claims made for personal gain. Offenders can face fines and up to one year in prison, with the Act aimed at preserving the integrity of military service by penalising those who deceitfully claim honours they did not earn.

Combat veteran Rep. Wesley Hunt was furious, telling media that, “If you did not serve in a combat zone and you claim that you did under any capacity, that’s a lie. A slap in the face to all of us who actually did…and those that didn’t make it back.”

  1. Kinda like Sen. John Kerry who, according to members of his Swift Boat Crew in Vietnam, always went and hid in the galley when the action started…
Check out the below article on the VP pick which has been verified…
    https://thecommonsenseshow.com/activism-agenda-21-conspiracy/walz-stomach-pumped-over-ingesting-horse-semen-1995-west-point-hospital
    Now here’s a cause for concern…
The Reserve and National / Air Guard components of the U.S. Armed Forces have full-time trainers who are Civilian Civil Service and they also have a commitment to serve one week-end a month in uniform and two weeks per year. The Reservist / Guard trainees only appear one week-end a month and also have a two weeks per year commitment.
One so-called ‘great experiment’ that failed was the merger of the Active Reserve Force with the Active Duty Force.
The Active Duty Regular Force was envious and obstructive towards the Reservists and their full-time Civilian Air / Army Reserve trainers (ARTs)
This resulted in animosities, back-stabbing and slanderous libel. The end result were threats of Court Martials towards the Reserve components once they were placed on Active Duty, coming under the command and supervision of those who were Freemasons, who were nasty pieces of work both mentally and personality-wise!
One unit had no less than 11 members resign on one day just 4 days out from being activated to go to the Middle East, as they were threatened with not only a court martial, but also …CONFINEMENT OF 10 YEARS IN FORT LEAVENWORTH! This was overheard in a closed-door meeting at one unit…
Those who did resign under the secret yet verified plan to Court Martial them for being Union Members once they were activated for deployment had been to see lawyers and doctors who, in turn, provided written recommendations to quit their jobs due to the legal threats imposed on them by ‘management’ that was top-heavy with Freemasons and Lifers, and fully-infested with the same being sociopaths and psychopaths.
After these units returned from the war in the Middle East, both the full time Reserve trainers and their trainees quit several units in their entirety due to the treatment they received from the active duty supervision and command while activated or called-up post-theater.
It wasn’t the threats of war that accompany an armed conflict which caused the Reservists and Guardsmen to ‘cut and run from conflict’ but rather the threats from within…kinda like a military deeps state that targets people who question the command structures and their decisions.
So, before anyone calls another person who was in military service a coward for ‘leaving their post / assignment’, first look and see WHY those persons left the rank and file with many years of service, and most of the time, you will see that it had to do with inner closed door problems in the upper echelons, and the rancor they held for the Guard and Reserve components.
Couple that with the threat of Court Martials and long jail sentences, and one can see that it certainly wasn’t worthwhile to stick around, especially when the UCMJ will be abused and weaponised against an individual in a time of war and conflict.
BTW, those retired service members in the U.S. still carry their white ‘retired’ military ID cards, and they are subjected to the UCMJ / Court Martials any time they inadvertently break a federal law, code or statute.
AND- they can be re-activated in the event of a National Emergency right up to 70 years of age in a Class Four National Emergency!

    The bottom line here is;
DON’T JOIN THE U.S. ARMED FORCES!!! You’re not safe in or out of Military Service!! We’ll wait to see how this shakes-out for the Officers who have gone along with supporting the Genocide, War Crimes, and Human Rights violations as a proxy to Israel and the U.S. Deep State tactics of staging coups and revolutions, stealing resources, and weaponising their careers at the expense of other both in the U.S. Armed Foeces AND in Foreign Nations!

  2. Hi, pleased to meet you, my pronouns are ‘dumb, idiot, woke and moron’.

I’ll definitely by be voting for these two corrupt cretins.

    They seem nice.

  3. That creepy old guy looks like a stereotypical evangelist fruitloop snake-oil salesman.

Roll up roll up for gypsy Jim’s genuine jollop, guaranteed to provide eternal life or your money back.

  4. Oooh, he didn’t cover himself in glory and valour killing Iraqi’s in that illegal war.

You know, that one started on lies.

All Americans that “support the troops” essentially support the warmongering. More valour is earnt by calling out the crimes the US military commits in the name of freedom

  5. Looks like these two are perfectly qualified to lead the country, maintaining the high standards set by their predecessors. We wish them well as they steer the train wreck into the sunset…
