A former senior healthcare worker from Starship Hospital’s child abuse treatment unit has described a “toxic culture” of bullying that has eroded the once world-class service, leaving vulnerable children receiving “less of a service.”
WorkSafe issued an improvement notice in April, citing a lack of systems to manage “psychosocial risks” after staff complaints dating back to 2022.
Documents reveal repeated pleas for action, while three of seven senior doctors resigned over the internal culture before the ex-employee also quit, telling state-funded media she felt “broken.” Health NZ says it is addressing the issues through new safety frameworks and staff support.
Check out the Paediatric Units on South Island which have proven themselves to be processing centres for taking children away from parents and trafficking the kids via CYFS.
&…no lawyers or cops to be seen anywhere to defend or help the falsely accused parents…or to uphold the supposed ‘Rights of the Child’…

Starship never ever provided any “world-class service”. It was only “world-class” in NZ
WorkSafe remain a joke after their debacle a few years back with Whakaari / White Island where they did not understand the science from GNS Science but had previously provided the Whakaari / White Island culprits with awards for safety. The same GNS report templates reported on Whakaari / White Island and also Mt Ruapehu etc but Ruapehu would be closed at the slightest alert level while Whakaari / White Island remained opened to tourists at higher alert levels – and WorkSafe failed to notice this after several years of alleged “safety” audits.
WorkSafe have no credibility and their opinions are taxpayer-funded bullmanure.
Just imagine IF a nuke went off, or an asteroid hit the Earth, what their reactions would be..!
