A coroner has ruled that Highlanders and Māori All Blacks player Connor Garden-Bachop died from ‘natural causes’ linked to a mildly dilated heart.
The 25-year-old, who was a father of twin girls, died overnight on 16–17 June 2024 while staying at relatives’ Christchurch home, after going to bed well at 10.30pm and being found deceased the following day.
A post-mortem found no injuries and no drugs or alcohol in his system, but identified a slightly stretched heart that can cause fatal abnormal heart rhythms.
While he had experienced episodic concussion during his rugby career, including in May 2024, there was no seizure history and seizure as the sole cause was considered less likely.
Genetic testing by the Cardiac Inherited Diseases Group found no inherited abnormality, and the coroner confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
There’s one factor they’ve overlooked, he most likely had had his covid vaccine shots. He was healthy in every other way. No history of heart disease etc. Not normal for healthy people to just die in their sleep.
I realise that what I’ve just said is a can of worms our health authority in NZ doesn’t want to look at. But they really need to at some stage.

C’mon, it’s perfectly normal for a very fit 25 years old in the prime of his life to die from a heart attack. Happens quite regularly these days, or should I say has been happening since 2021 when the Pfizer kill shot was introduced to this country.
We need to see justice brought to the perpetrators of this massive crime which is to this day still being covered up by the politicians, the media and the corrupted medical system.
The elephant in the room. Will they look at his medical history, including whether he received any experimental medical interventions in the past? I reckon it will be a big nope. As you already said, fit, healthy young people simply do not die in their sleep.
A healthy young man suddenly dies in his sleep from a non-inherited heart problem. No drugs or alcohol in his system. No injuries which could explain why he died in his sleep except that he had a ‘stretched’ heart.
Is this the new diagnosis for pericarditis? Is nobody interested in why a young man suddenly developed an eighty year old heart?
So his death is attributed to ‘ natural causes’. Just like the SIDS babies. Just like all the young healthy people who have died suddenly since March 2020.
But we know what really caused it. And we know the culprits. We know who they are and where they are. And we know they are all still sitting comfortably in their wealthy, vax exempted situations.

If you want to be an All Black and play international rugby, taking the Pfizer jab back in 2021 and later was mandatory. Surely we remember the dozens of sports people around the world collapsing from heart attacks on the sports field. Most those were either not reported or put down to some other cause. Embalming in the US is a popular practice. The number of people who died with enormous blood clots in their bodies was mind blowing. Where is the justice for tis covid nightmare? The key players in this country are still trying to pretend it never happened.
