The Kumeu Classic Car and Hot Rod Festival kicks off today and will run until Sunday 22nd January.
Counterspin Media and Dig In At Marsden will be at the festival where they will continue their work to raise awareness of important issues facing New Zealand. Both organisations are likely to play an important role in shaping public discourse in what is going to be a watershed election year.
‘The witch may be gone but the havoc she’s caused in her wake is still there and we’ve got to clean that up. We need our strategic assets back,’ said Dig In spokesman Brad Flutey.
‘If you’re in the Kumeu area and you want to come and say hi to us, we’ve got the Secure Marsden Refinery group and Counterspin,’ said Sue of ‘Kiwi and Sue‘.
The Festival is held at the Kumeu Showgrounds, 34-41 Access Road, Kumeu, just off SH16 in Kumeu township. Hours for Saturday (tomorrow) are 7am to 6pm, and Sunday, 8am to 1pm.
