Investigative journalist and Deep State expert Whitney Webb told interviewer Neil Oliver that the global push for biometric Digital ID is the central element of a broader plan to build a programmable, surveilled society — linking Digital ID to central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), social-credit style control and “predictive” policing — and urged people to refuse participation.
Webb described Digital ID as the “fundamental linchpin” of what she called an emerging architecture of control: without widespread voluntary uptake, she said, the system that would enable tracking, targeted health mandates and automated financial restrictions would collapse.
Webb argued that the strategy is built around persuading people to opt in by selling convenience — digital wallets, faster services and frictionless identity verification — rather than using overt coercion, which she said would provoke resistance and be more costly for elites. “They want us to choose our own enclosure,” she warned, calling the convenience offered to the public a “carrot” that masks a trap.
Describing COVID lockdowns as a preparatory test that pushed populations online, Webb urged practical forms of resistance: opt out of Digital ID schemes, strengthen local self-reliance, cultivate real-world community ties, and avoid surrendering daily life to platforms that can be centrally controlled. She framed non-compliance as an effective check on elites’ plans, noting that the vast sums invested in advocacy and technology indicate those pushing the agenda depend on public cooperation.
Webb’s warnings sit within a broader debate about the balance between technological convenience and civil liberties. Proponents of Digital ID say properly designed systems can reduce fraud, widen access to services, and improve border and financial security; critics — like Webb — contend insufficient safeguards risk creating exclusionary systems that can be exploited for surveillance or economic coercion.

New Zealand has a rotten track record on human rights. You need look no further than the treatment of unionised workers over the years and soldiers, in both world wars. Simple, get a non smartphone, leave your smart phone at home. Don’t post anything on X, Facebook, instegram etc. Don’t use AI or chatGP. Remember AI is competing for the same resources as we human do, electricity and water. Amazon building a large data center in New Zealand, I bet they pay only a 10th of the electricity what we pay and get all the Government incentives and do not pay tax.
After digi ID there will be a push for facial recognition in everything inc login to social media.
