Both the Association of Salaried Medical Specialists and Health New Zealand say they are ready to return to the bargaining table after the Employment Relations Authority (ERA) declined to step in on their stalled pay negotiations.
The ERA found no serious or sustained breaches of good faith that would justify its intervention, following HNZ’s September claim that the union had undermined the bargaining process.
ASMS executive director Sarah Dalton told state-funded media it was time to restart talks and work through remaining issues, while HNZ’s Robyn Shearer said the agency is committed to reaching a fair, affordable settlement that avoids disruption to patients and the wider health system.

100%. I have zero sympathy for them and they’re still not speaking up. It’s no surprise to me that our hospitals are full of sick and dying people. The covid jabs are still doing their work of culling the population but most of the doctors and nurses haven’t got the guts to speak out.
Most of them are probably so brainwashed by the system they can’t even see what is going on. They probably believe the increase in death and sickness is due to climate change, or micro plastics or whatever other nonsense the state proganda machine is feeding them.
