Donald Trump has declared victory in the U.S. presidential race against Kamala Harris.
Trump has been projected to secure key swing states, including Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina, leaving him just four Electoral College points short of clinching a return to the White House, with several states yet to finalise results.
Kamala Harris has not publicly responded, as her campaign co-chair addressed supporters at Howard University, urging them to go home and announcing that Harris would speak the following day.
Speaking to supporters in Florida, Trump stated, “We’re going to help our country heal…we made history for a reason tonight.”
Early signs of success for Trump were evident in Georgia, where exit polls showed him winning 54 percent of independent voters, compared to Harris’s 43 percent—a turnaround from 2020, when Trump lost Georgia independents by nine points.
Another positive indicator came from Florida, where Trump made history as the first Republican since 1988 to secure Miami-Dade County. National exit polls revealed that Harris had struggled to rally a surge among women voters, while Trump saw a slight increase to 44 percent support among female voters.
Harris campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond told the crowd in Washington D.C. that the Vice President would not be speaking that night, urging patience and affirming the campaign’s commitment to ensure “every vote is counted”.
As Republican supporters gathered at Mar-a-Lago for post-election celebrations, the GOP also won a majority in the U.S. Senate by flipping seats in West Virginia and Ohio.
Control of the House of Representatives remains uncertain, with Republicans currently holding a narrow lead.
According to exit polls, Trump’s support among Hispanic voters rose to 45 percent, a 13-point increase from 2020, while economic concerns drove many voters toward Trump, especially those who felt financially strained compared to four years ago.
‘Many people told me that God spared my life for a reason’ – Trump
‘And that reason is to save this country… We’re going to fulfill that mission together,’ he added.#Election2024 pic.twitter.com/d7XUXr8Gnr

Maga yeaah, TDS meltdowns everywhere lol
They’re still trying to cheat, haven’t finished the counting in the backrooms.
Lols.😂
Baron must be like 6’3″ 6’4″ he makes Trump look a little short. They are nicely standing there very well composed.
Trump has been sitting on 267 of the 270 required for 3 hours. What is this nonsense.
They were so desperate for the 3am cheating it was palpable. Didn’t happen this time, too bad 😆
What would be funny is to get that woman from November 2016, the one with the glasses and luminous green jacket. You can hear in the background something like, “Donald Trump will be the 45th President of the United States!”
She is on her knees going, “NOOOOO! NOOOOO!”. She is almost in tears. It’s so funny! I cry with laughter every time I watch that clip.
Filming her now with her reaction to the 2024 nomination would be so funny.
I would love to put on some disco music, say “Earth, Wind & Fire”, perhaps “Let’s Groove” and start dancing around her and do some serious trolling.
Perhaps do the “Mr. Bean” disco dancing special.
She was a Halloween costume and character. Very funny.
Anybody want some liberals? They say they’re leaving America….
Sorry, we have enough here in Playa and Peurto Morelos, don’t send them here! The Mexicans can’t stand them.
Electoral vote count: Trump’s win in Wisconsin put him over the 270 threshold needed to clinch the presidency.
Noting the time you post your comment at 1:17am and how long it too to count the last of the votes to push Trump into the lead. It sat on 267 from about 6:00pm ish. 5 hours.
I was asleep. I don’t stay up all night just to watch Trump win. Lols
I made they comment in a different part of the world around 6am when I swoke, feeling quite refreshed.
But anyway glad he made it, thought he would when I went to sleep.
