Brilliant idea and one I will use when I’m shopping.
I always buy NZ Made rather than the mystery meat and other food products imported from countries with no quality control. It has never made sense to me that foodstuffs flown or shipped from 13,000 kms away cost less than our home grown. And what about the so-called carbon miles? Then the Straits of Hormuz are closed and we starve to death in the land where once a second grade leg of mutton cost ten dollars and was almost too big to fit in the roasting dish.
Sure, that was forty years ago, but even with inflation it still doesn’t work that meat should cost what it does.
Someone needs to remind the politicians and their silly free trade agreements that we can’t eat ideology.
More attacks on our farmers. We need the American system, sick of this debt and global system.
The American System has been compromised by Gates, Bezos, corrupt Zionist-led government & the Chinese conglomerates that have bought-up farmland and are then not working the same, allowing the purchased lands to sit without any productivity whatsoever, thus causing food shortages BY ZIONIST DESIGN in order to effect a Holodomor!!! and hyper-inflate food prices as a result of food shortages!
Besides, the irrigation water that the farms and crops need has been stolen by the A.I. Data Centres!
In the meantime, those who still a yard and are not living in the A.I.-controlled :15 Minute Cities in their Human Dog Kennels should be growing their own fruits & veggies by now, and be fully prepped for 5 years of shortages.
When farmers here stop using glyphosate as a dessicant or actually try to grow without the use of harmful pesticides and herbicides, I might be happier to buy their products… but in the meantime… people working in bakeries in the supermarkets develop rashes on their arms when handling flour…. why? Where is this flour from? We don’t know… so….. I go out of my way to buy organic flour and we make our own bread…. glyphosate causes cancers, one of which is cancer of the kidneys… great… my husband just had one kidney removed… beer is made with grains saturated in the stuff probably… he ate alot of Vogels, and drank beer… it takes years for cancers to show up when environmentally triggered and that’s what the doctors told him… his cancer is not genetic…it’s environmental..but they won’t say exactly what…we need to stop using that stuff…I also knew a fella who worked for Ball Brothers in Pukekohe, vegetable growers… they knew this was going on and he told us they laughed about it… laughed that they knew they were coating their produce with glyphosate…which does not break down in water, takes about 6 months to break down and yet the councils spray it everywhere… EVERYWHERE and we eat it…
Well stated. More exposure of NZs corrupt crop growing is needed to see how we are being poisoned in the name of profit

When shopping, I make sure to buy flour or pasta from Europe (made in Europe), for example, from Italy. I don’t trust the products made here. Everything is contaminated with toxins like glyphosate, fluoride, chlorine, artificial folic acid, etc. Even the water is undrinkable. It’s a disgrace.
It’s quite simple. When you have sky high property prices you have sky high produce prices which makes your produce uncompetitive against countries which don’t have sky high property prices.
Sky high property prices might seem attractive on the surface, but all it does is evaporate your income – except for those who purchased property before Helen Clark started the run away property pricing.
