FBI name alleged suspect in Trump assassination attempt, questions raised over Secret Service actions

Trump shooter news

Thomas Matthew Crooks has been named as the suspect following an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

Legacy media report the FBI have named Crooks as the suspect, but suspicions remain on both social media and independent media outlets as to the true identity of the shooter.

The incident occurred during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, with shots fired from a nearby rooftop.

Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old, apparently a registered Republican, lived approximately an hour away from the rally site. Crooks had once made a minor donation to a left-wing group. He graduated from Bethel Park High School in 2022, as reported by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

USA Today reported a significant law enforcement presence at Crooks’s residence, listed on his voter registration record. Agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, along with a bomb squad, were on the scene.

Security Failures and Concerns

The incident has raised critical questions about the security measures in place during Trump’s rally. Two former FBI agents expressed their alarm over the security lapse, particularly concerning the rooftop from which the fired.

Bobby Chacon, a former FBI field agent, focused on the proximity of the rooftop to the stage, describing it as a prime vantage point with a clear line of sight. “I’m shocked that they didn’t have somebody on that roof,” Chacon told CNN.

Steve Moore, a retired FBI agent and countersniper, suggested that a failure in planning or execution might have left the roof unmonitored. “They could have planned for that roof and maybe something happened in the planning or in the execution of the plan where it was left unguarded,” Moore explained. He predicted “drastic changes” to future security protocols.

“The Secret Service has to be right every single time, every single rally of every single candidate of every single month, every single year, they’ve got to be perfect.”

The attempted assassination has also sparked reactions on social media, with legacy media narratives already coming under suspicion. Influencer Andrew Tate tweeted a more sinister reason for the security failure:

“They found an idiot.
They let him on the roof.
They let him set up a rifle.
They ignored the warnings from the crowd about this man with a gun aimed at the president.
They let him take shots at Trump.
When Trump fell down they took him out before he could talk.
Coup.”

TikTok influencer and Donald Trump supporter Jon Dawson told his nearly 1 million followers that it was time for Americans to wake up.

‘I am so tired of these diluted American brains that are listening to this theatre script play out on television, telling them that reality is one thing, and they’re not smart enough to step out their door and realise reality is completely different.

‘We have the news telling us white supremacy is one of the biggest threats to our democracy. We have people saying the conservatives are the same as the neo [Nazis]. They have people saying that Ultra MAGA is violent. They have people saying that Trump’s trying to overthrow democracy. They have people saying that all of the violence, and the civil unrest and the inflation, and everything, is conservative, Trump’s fault. I am tired of it…

‘If you look at the presidents that actually were assassinated, and you look at what they were doing to the government money – you would realise the reason they’re getting taken out isn’t because some random Joe-Schmo downtown doesn’t want that president. It’s because the system feels threatened.’

Dawson claimed that assassination was the only way the ‘Deep State’ can take Trump down, as all their other methods, namely ‘lawfare’ and voter fraud had so far failed, and in fact made Trump’s popularity grow bigger.

  1. Another young 20 year old kid who, just like all those school shooters, somehow got his hands on powerful rifles and tactical gear costing thousands of dollars more than his earning capacity, and with a mysteriously scrubbed internet profile.

Two SS snipers above Trump’s head watched through their scopes as this kid climbed onto a roof nearby and they did nothing as he aimed a rifle at the person they were supposedly protecting. Only once he’d made the shot did they smoke him. They were obviously just the cleanup crew.

Keep this at the forefront of your mind in the coming days, because all you’re going to hear is “the secret service messed up”, “the secret service are incompetent”, “the secret service are a bunch of idiots” etc. Do NOT let them propagandise you with that talking point. They were 100% in on it.

    • Yes, he’d been groomed for it, Brainwashed, MK Ultra. Conveniently shot to eliminate any questions. SS gave the shooter carte blanche. The woman in charge couldn’t give the order to shoot him. They wanted DJT’s head to be blown away for the whole world to see.

  2. Of course there’s all kinds of theories being presented.
    One somewhat believable:
Video shows a secret service sharpshooter allegedly getting off the first three shots. It’s plausible the assassin got off a few shots after being hit.

  3. Very good comments and commentary on the setup which leaches common sense and realism from tv watchers’ and Guardian readers’ brains.

  4. The real shooter was said to be Maxwell Yearick.

The secret service shooter who killed him has reported to have said he had the shooter in his sight but was not given permission to take him out for several minutes.

The head of the secret service must step down.

  5. Why, when police and secret service are made aware of someone on a roof with a rifle, did they not remove Trump from the stage?
