Fire investigators are probing the cause of a blaze that destroyed a three-bedroom house in Turangi in the early hours of Sunday.
Fire and Emergency received multiple calls about the fire around 12.30am, and five fire trucks were dispatched to the scene.
The house was already well-alight when crews arrived, but all occupants were accounted for and no injuries were reported.
While there is no indication at this stage the fire was suspicious, an investigator has been assigned to determine the cause.
