Government abandons National Intelligence and Security Agency plan despite claims of ongoing consideration

National Intelligence and Security Agency news

Despite public assurances that the establishment of a National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) was under “active consideration,” newly-released documents reveal that the decision to abandon the plan had been made by April.

This agency was a key recommendation of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the 2019 mosque attacks, intended to address the shortcomings in national security and improve oversight. Judith Collins’ office stated in May that the proposal was still in process, but according to a report in state media, internal briefings indicated the Prime Minister had decided against it to avoid the complexities and costs of creating a new infrastructure.

The government ultimately chose to maintain the current national security structure led by the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC).

The decision, finalised in July, was said to prioritise streamlining over complexity. This move rejected eight of the 44 recommendations from the Royal Commission, including setting up an advisory board on counterterrorism. The decision faced criticism from various groups, including the Kāpuia ministerial advisory group, which advocated for NISA’s establishment. The government justified its actions by citing significant improvements within DPMC since 2020, despite some critics arguing that the changes were insufficient to address “systemic issues.”

  1. Keep an eye on the ‘backdoor’ methodology of re-introducing this mess in the nearer future.
This would have and still can create a Surveillance-style Police State.
Similar laws and tactics under ‘Anti-Terrorism’ laws that parallel what Hitler introduced in the Spring of 1935 and is in full force in North Amerika and Europe is having dire consequences.
And…it’s all accomplished in the premise of being and keeping everyone ‘safe’, but neither are they ‘free’.

The below article shows that this model is being adopted on a global scale via various elements ie the WEF, WHO and many Alphabet Agencies in the West.

Had Luxon implemented this, there would be calls for his immediate removal from office, and the exposure of the Globalists acting and dictating New Zealand Laws, ‘Mandates’ & Policies from behind the scenes. There would no doubt be a call for massive protesting. But-
In the end, one has to lock the back door to sneaky, sniveling political tactics in order to monitor and hold accountable anyone who is either elected or appointed into a position of ‘power’ that may implement any form of a Surveillance Police State either overtly, covertly or thru gradual means.

  2. But the US has all those similar secretive intelligence services and “investigative” agencies, funded by taxpayers and accountable to nobody, and just look at their wonderful track record, right?

Seems like the Kapuia advisory group are the ACTUAL threat to national security…🤔

  3. This “plan” said ‘Public service commissioner to continue efforts on significantly increasing workforce diversity and attracting diverse talent for public service leadership roles at 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tiers’. Why would hiring diverse leaders be better for NZ than hiring great leaders? And how on earth would this reduce terrorism.
This plan was not written to tackle terrorism, it was written to weaken our Nation and impose limitations on New Zealanders. It tried to remove our freedom of speech also. It is a woke agenda that was pushed by the Labour party.

  4. This plan was written not to prevent terrorism, it was written to push Labours woke agenda, which included trying to remove New Zealand’s Freedom of Speech.

  5. The policecorp is a known masonic boys club which is a known satanic cult.
Our nation was infested by this cult right from the start.
The moment they raised their corporation flag was the moment the fraud commenced.
    We ALREADY HAD A DECLARATION.
The satanic cult used their oldboys to bulldoze over this legal agreement.
Now their satanic agenda is visible to all who care to look.
    Depopulation, transhumanism and digital enslavement.
We did never agree to this and we must now end it.

  6. DPMC pretty much ran the covid response. Manipulating the public. Using our taxes to fund their nudge advertising.

Probably a good comparison to other countries unaccountable intelligence agencies

  7. “Those who give up freedom for safety deserve neither freedom nor safety!”
