IINZ backs NZ’s refusal to recognise Palestinian statehood

IINZ - Palestine news

The Israel Institute of New Zealand (IINZ) has welcomed the Government’s decision not to recognise Palestinian statehood, praising Foreign Minister Winston Peters’ announcement at the UN General Assembly as “principled and pragmatic”.

Director Dr David Cumin said premature recognition would reward Hamas, which continues to hold hostages and reject peace, and stressed that statehood must be contingent on viable governance, democracy, and renunciation of terrorism.

IINZ said the move reinforces New Zealand’s reputation as an independent and thoughtful global voice, while reiterating calls for Hamas to release hostages, end its rule in Gaza, and return to direct negotiations for a lasting peace.

  1. I read elsewhere that Winnie has gifted 10 million NZ dollars for Gaza – my question is, with NZ drowning in debt why are forking out money?!!

    • Luxon has forked out more the $100 million to that crook little freak Zelinsky in Ukraine. Even saw Luxon give the little pervert a big hug and call him ‘my friend.’
The problem I have with the Gaza donation is that none of the starving people there will get to see one cent of it. Netanyahu will ensure that.

  2. Looks like one of the ppl who run IINZ is a Ashleigh Church, CEO of the Property Institute of New Zealand.
The other is a dr David Cumin, a pebble in AKL university. Hear how another mental-low-flyer, i.e. the platform’s plunket plonker, lowers himself to the genocidal musings of dr David:

Winnie must shout them a Whisky.

    • I listen to the platform but it’s extremely obvious Sean has been captured by Israel.

      It’s a shame really.

I can’t stand Ashleigh church, a typical boomer, spruiking the property market for his own benefit. He will no doubt be the first in line to collect his pension after ensuring him and generation has stripped opportunity away from the young. He makes me sick. As for David cumin, I have to turn off the show every time he comes on or Sean starts raving on about the ‘poor’ victims that are Israel. Everyone with half a brain cell can see Israel is evil. Killing women amd children because they allowed the Hamas hang gliders to cross the border. Charlie kirk woke up to this that’s why they killed him. that’s right folks. Israel allowed their own people to be killed and taken hostage just so they had an excuse to kill the Palestinians in Gaza. It’s EVIL.

      • Yip. They let it happen. 15min is usual response time to have apaches on scene.

        Hours on Oct 7

Netanyahu and his circle of fanatics are evil

      • I agree with your comments apart from one. I believe the masonic Charlie Kirk is not dead and the whole thing was a poorly run fake psyop. Everything about Charlie Kirk, including his wife reeks of a free mason psyop.

  3. Just revolting and yet another reason I wont vote for this unprincipled bunch, next election. NZ will only ever be a US colony as long as they are allowed into political office.

  4. Boycott all of their products – TODAY.
Do you still drink Coke? Doe you still use Facebook? Do you use their A.I.? Do you watch their Netflix? Do you use Whattsapp?
If you do… switch it off.
    That is the way.
Easy & peaceful – your life will be better for it too!
