“Tragically, IT passed away a short time later.”
Get your grammar right.
If you’re refering to a person or people whose gender you legitimately don’t yet know, the correct vernacular is “they”.
Eg “Tomorrow I will ask the bus driver if THEY accept credit cards. The person who edits the evening news, I hate THEM” etc.
This is different to the woke leftist version of they/them where you are looking at a person with your own two eyes and can immediately tell their gender, but aren’t allowed to acknowledge reality.
I hate it just as much as everyone else, but I bristle at hearing a baby being referred to as an “it”, because that’s drifting back towards baby-hating leftism.
Um… you sent me a link to some website thread in which multiple people concur with my assertion that the use of “it” is offensive. Not really the own I think you think it is…
Not super educated no, I’m just a product of my environment. If it’s not the case that you hate babies, if I was just getting the wrong impression, then I genuinely apologise. But in all fairness you were being a pissy grammar Nazi to the article’s author, when the wording they used was perfectly fine.

It was a person. Hence a “they”, not an “it”.
Or are you a bitter old woman looking for Dalmatians to sow into a coat?
Jesus.
Projection, bitter old man?
Not bitter, just irritated 👍
“Safe and effective” or cultural?
“The child”?? Or “The infant” would that be correct?
Them? They?
Is “they” an eclesiastic term or is it legalise? Asking for a friend. Don’t abuse me.
Yes too many deaths like this. Another tragedy. Sad to see.
Lol, no abuse from me I promise.

Well, you ARE abusive with your earlier comment.
And you are uneducated.

Stupid thing to get into a tiff about.
Carry on.
