Iran and U.S. resume high-stakes nuclear talks in Geneva

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has arrived in Geneva for a second round of nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States, aimed at easing tensions and avoiding a wider regional conflict.

Araghchi said he was bringing practical proposals for a fair agreement but ruled out surrendering to pressure, as Iran maintains it will not abandon uranium enrichment or negotiate its missile programme. He is also meeting Rafael Grossi of the International Atomic Energy Agency to discuss inspection access to damaged nuclear facilities following recent strikes, while Oman continues to act as a mediator between Washington and Tehran.

The talks are taking place against a backdrop of escalating regional military deployments by the US and ongoing political tensions inside Iran following a deadly crackdown on riots earlier this year.

US President Donald Trump has increased military presence in the region and suggested regime change in Iran would be positive, further raising stakes around the negotiations. Meanwhile, separate diplomatic discussions in Switzerland are also focusing on ending the Ukraine war, now nearing its fourth year, with Vladimir Zelenskyy warning Ukraine cannot continue to be pushed toward concessions despite pressure for a negotiated settlement.

  1. The United States is sending Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner as its envoys for the resumed high‑stakes nuclear talks in Geneva
Both key figures in Trump’s Iran negotiating team Who will represent Washington in the discussions
Both Zionist Jew NY real estate magnates
Truth in plain sight which shows the US is not serious about reaching any peaceful resolution
While making unreasonable demands that Iran will never adhere nor agree to
Sticking points red lines and marks in the sand
Which indicates the US is already committed having already decided in its course of action
While at the same time deploying its largest ever logistics network in preparation for war amidst the backdrop and falsity of these ‘going through the motions’ distractions to the reality

    • That’s the anglo american perfidy.
What they call in english ” fair play”, but is in reality cheating and lying and distorting the truth on all front.
      In short, people without honor

  2. Its all a game like the Ukraine talks. Once again it will most likely be resolved on the battlefield. The US will launch a few strikes, Iran will bomb its pet and it and then most likely the whole thing will collapse as it did the last go round.
