International professor speaks out as glyphosate debate heats up in New Zealand.
As global scientists raise renewed concerns about the safety of glyphosate, a widely used weedkiller, New Zealand stands poised to increase allowable residue limits on key food crops. Professor Massimo Fioranelli, a respected Italian academic, recently described the continued use of glyphosate in the face of cancer warnings as:
“Not science, but industry propaganda.”
His words echo growing concern in New Zealand, where the grassroots campaign NoMoreGlyphosate.nz was launched on May 1st—May Day, a fitting call for public alarm. Within days, the campaign evolved from conversation to action, going live on May 5th with a clear mission: question the narrative, expose the gaps, and make glyphosate a national issue.
A country at a crossroads
The New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is currently proposing to raise Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for glyphosate on more than 20 food crops, including everyday staples like wheat, oats, and dried peas. These changes are being proposed without any recent local residue data, and with limited public awareness or transparency.
At the same time, international litigation continues to mount. Bayer, the maker of Roundup, faces more than 67,000 lawsuits in the U.S. alone. Rumours suggest the company may be preparing to retire the Roundup brand altogether—a move that looks more like damage control than a safety pivot.
NoMoreGlyphosate.nz: One Month, 66 Articles, and Counting
In just over four weeks, NoMoreGlyphosate.nz has published 66 original articles across five core categories:
- 25 Health Risks – exploring links to hormone disruption, mitochondrial damage, cancer, and chronic illness.
- 17 Regulation & Policy – uncovering weak oversight, flawed approvals, and political posturing.
- 9 Environmental Impact – including pollinator decline, soil degradation, and water contamination.
- 8 Legal & Industry News – tracking lawsuits, lobbying, and international shifts.
- 7 Public Action – empowering communities to push back.
“We’re not here to overwhelm the media with article drops. We’re here to offer clarity—and evidence—on a topic most regulators hope stays buried in technical reports.”
Sound Familiar? It Should. We’ve Been Here Before
A product becomes essential. Experts raise concerns. Industry pushes back. Regulators downplay the risk.
And the public? We’re left navigating uncertainty—again.
We saw this happen with tobacco, asbestos, lead paint, DDT, and more recently PFAS. Many journalists reading this will remember covering those same slow-burning disasters.
The playbook hasn’t changed. Just the molecule.
How long will we keep protecting the product before we protect the people?
When Overseas Evidence is Conveniently Ignored
New Zealand’s regulators are quick to cite international standards—when it suits them. They point to what “other countries allow” to justify raising glyphosate limits, yet routinely dismiss overseas research that highlights the dangers of long-term exposure.
It’s a convenient contradiction:
- If it supports the narrative, it’s global best practice.
- If it doesn’t, it’s “not relevant to New Zealand conditions.”
“The truth is, many of our decision-makers wouldn’t recognise good science if it drifted onto their Weet-Bix.”
A Growing Global Shift
Professor Fioranelli’s warning is part of a broader international reckoning. As legal cases mount and peer-reviewed studies raise red flags, the world is waking up to the long-term costs of glyphosate reliance.
New Zealand has a choice: lead with caution—or lag behind in denial.

The elephant in the room is ignored. The education system and teaching profession have failed us because we don’t know how to recognize what is or isn’t science. People instead blindly believe something is science because they are told it is science. It operates like a religious cult, not science – because people are required to believe what they are told.
Of course the MSM / Legacy Media will NOT cover this; after all, they want us all DEAD!!!!
The MSM / Legacy Media are weaponised against us all beginning with the insistence that the Covid-19 ‘vaccines’ were ‘safe and effective’, and that Glyphosate 2-4-D has no proven ill-health features.
Agent Orange 2-4-5-T is only one molecule away from Round-Up and associated Glyphosate herbicides / week killers.
Stop buying this eternal Agent Orange cousin’s poison- use KiwiCare ORGANIC weed killer which DOES NOT HAVE GLYPHOSATE.
Eventually, all Glyphosate Weed Killers will be pulled from the shelves due to boycotting the same and sales for the poison stops.
The New Zealand Loyal Party will insure that this monstrous poison will NOT be used any further here in this country!
Visit and read the Loyal Party’s website.. then vote out ALL of the Uni-Party parasites currently in Parliament!
That is, IF we’re all still alive to do so due to the orchestrated ‘new and virulent Covid mutated strain’ and World War Three going full-hot with nukes…
Remember- all aspects of controlled and propagandised Legacy Media, MSM, and so-called ‘ Global Political Solutions and Edicts / Agreements’ have the common goal of killing everyone on the surface of the planet, while the ultra-rich Zionist parasites hide-out in their underground cities.
Just wait until you’re fried by 5G, 6G and DEWs…all those cell towers aren’t there just for your communication convenience; these are EMP / EMF / Microwave weapons using patented Vircators!

The authoritarian intermingling of corporate industry and subsequent NZ governments, the complex secretive interplay of economic policies and law-fare, especially in regard to big pharma and international banking syndicates, is by definition fascist.
The only difference to the traditional definition is that the nationalistic aspect is replaced by a globalist terror regime.
For that to thrive the uni-party system of blue/red keeps the voters appeased while the construction of new fences and modified fodder for the cattle is introduced incrementally to avoid stampede.
If you think Regenerative Farming equates to ORGANIC , THINK AGAIN.
The big push for increasing the use of GLYPHOSATE , in NZ, is from the RG Farming lobby.
These herbicides are prohibited in Organic Farming practices.
