David Greenwood, a lawyer representing dozens of child grooming gang victims, has issued a stark warning about the prevalence of such crimes, claiming there are “potentially hundreds of thousands” of victims “in every town and city” across the UK.
Greenwood, who currently represents 50-60 victims seeking compensation, argues against a new national public inquiry, deeming it a “waste of money.”
Instead, he advocates for implementing the recommendations from the 2022 Alexis Jay inquiry to focus on future safeguarding and prevention.
Speaking on Chopper’s Political Podcast Greenwood described how victims, now often in their 20s, face a grueling legal process that questions their traumatic experiences, adding that many are discouraged from seeking justice due to the adversarial nature of the system.
Greenwood highlighted the systemic failures of authorities, recounting cases from northern England, including towns like Rotherham and Rochdale, where local councils and police failed to act.
Most victims, aged 12-16 during the abuse, settle for compensation between £20,000 and £50,000, often spent on therapy.
He criticised the treatment of victims, who were often blamed or dismissed by authorities.
Greenwood also noted that while many offenders he dealt with were of Pakistani descent, there were also perpetrators from Eastern Europe.

However, make no mistake, most rapists have grown up without a proper father figure like you, and THAT’s the real issue. That you do not want to engage in meaningful cohabition with males, well, that’s maybe darwinism working for once. There has to be a break in a vicious cycle.
And no, not all rapists are men.

Make the consequences of rape insignificant as was done with the Pakistani gangs. Blame the schoolgirls. Call it a ‘lifestyle choice’.
Criminalise abortion. Any pregnancies resulting from coerced sex or rape must be carried through to full term. Give the father of the child visitation rights or rights to get custody of the child as was done recently with ten year old Sarah. (She is dead now).
Result: The industrial scale raping of thousands of underage British girls carried out for years and completely ignored by everybody in authority including the police, would soon show the end results of the Kalergi plan taking shape.
