Both Labour and National have slipped below 30 percent in the latest Taxpayers’ Union-Curia poll.
Labour dropped 1.9 points to 25.9 percent, its weakest showing in this poll since July 2024, while National declined two points to 29 percent. Opportunity fell from 6.1 to 4.5 percent, leaving it without seats under the poll’s projections.
The Greens surged 3.8 points to 13.9 percent and ACT climbed 3.2 points to 10.5 percent, while NZ First eased to 8.4 percent and Te Pāti Māori rose to 2 percent.
On the projected numbers, National, ACT and NZ First would command 64 seats against 56 for Labour, the Greens and Te Pāti Māori. Christopher Luxon remained the preferred prime minister on 21.2 percent, ahead of Chris Hipkins on 16.9 percent, although support for both leaders declined.
Political polls are fake. Polling always has and always will be fake; as they can never be verified.
They are utilized to sway, persuade and manipulate public perception prior to elections.

Its the National and Labour voting for the Under 16 ban on social media.
However, in reality everyone who has social media will need to disclose who they are.
That will limit the freedom of speech.
It will also under-mind the sprit of the coalition and the trust in both major parties.

Hard to say what this amounts to, as there is always a margin of error. A margin that’s bigger than most polls might typically suggest. That being said, I do hope people have finally started waking up to who is behind NZ’s traumatic decline since the mid 1980’s. Will people finally stop voting for more of the same. and worse with proxy Digital Id’s, Gene Tech, more GMO food, environmental decay, crippling taxation and more just over the horizon? I hope so, because there’s really not a lot of good reasons left to stay here anymore.
We have all has a guts ache with National, Labour & Act. The definition of insanity is repeating the same action while hoping for a different outcome. Something needs to change the NZ voter!

If Kiwis could break out of their programmed mindset of voting for either Labour, Nazional, NZ First or the red Greenies, then maybe by voting for the New Zealand Loyal Party this time around will effect some changes, and holding politicians accountable for their actions!
I can’t believe that Kiwis would pass over the Loyal Party policy of a 1% transactional tax, and beg the uni-parties to tax them on capital gains, your home (as if the rates aren’t bad enough,…) and removing benefits from those who the uni-parties see as ‘useless eaters’ and a ‘burden to the GDP’

The party political system is the problem – not the solution.
Direct Democracy, where the voters make the decisions is a viable option that works. If you support any of party politics political parties you will just get more of the same.
But maybe you like sitting at home complaining. The party political system will give you plenty to complain about no matter who is (s)elected.
