A homicide investigation is underway after the death of 58-year-old Boy Taylor in Napier’s central business district early Wednesday morning.
Police confirmed that Taylor, a Napier resident, sustained injuries consistent with an assault on Emerson Street during the early hours of December 18.
Detective Inspector David de Lange stated that a large team of investigators is working on the case and urged anyone with information to come forward.
Police are particularly interested in witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from around 2 a.m. in the area.
