In a statement released yesterday evening, police confirmed they have made three arrests in relation to the final day of the Parliament Protest earlier this year.
A search warrant was executed at a property in Tasman resulting in the arrest of two people.
A 29 year old man was charged with intentional damage and doing a dangerous act with intent. Both charges relate to the lighting of fires on parliament grounds.
A 29 year old woman has been charged with doing a dangerous act with intent and rioting.
These two will appear in the Nelson District Court on Monday.
A 50 year old man has been arrested in Nelson and charged with assault with a weapon, doing a dangerous act with intent and rioting. He appeared in court yesterday.
So much organised violence in US is called activism by the wokes. No court action at all.
Kiwis are not violent as the Americans in general. Given this distinction, the fire incidents are nothing to worry and bother about. Just part of the activism. Police and the government agencies will be spending thousands of time more money with this litigation compared to few hundred dollars loss. I am sure the Judges will have the reason to see this unncessary litigation and let it go.
What about the well photographed fireworks thrower at the tailend of the rally? The one handed to the police, he was wearing an earpiece for coms…
Strange, live video showed no fire until police kicked over one in an empty tent. That fire spread quickly.
I hope it was police colleagues that they arrested because the police were the ones involved in starting the fire. Friggin makes me sick.
