Name release – fatal crash, Dipton Winton Highway
Police can now confirm the name of the person who died in a crash on the Dipton Winton Highway on 22 January.
He was Dilip Darai, 28, of Lumsden.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
Name release, fatal collision, Benneydale
Police can name the man who died following an incident on State Highway 30 at Benneydale on 24 January.
He was 41-year-old Kerry William Phillips, also known as Blue.
Mr Phillips was struck by a car travelling on the highway, about 4am, and sadly died at the scene.
A Serious Crash Unit investigation is ongoing.
