Update: Homicide investigation, Palmerston North
The scene examination at a property on Dahlia Street will continue through the weekend, as Police conduct a homicide investigation.
Police were called to the property at around 10.25pm on Thursday 11 May after a man was seriously injured and subsequently died in hospital.
Yesterday police interviewed people who were known to be at the address on the night in question and are working to identify others who were at the address.
Enquiries have established that the incident involved parties known to each other, and there is no information to suggest that there is an ongoing risk to the wider public.
Police continue to be interested in hearing from anyone who has information that could assist and in particular, any sightings of a vehicle leaving Dahlia Street at speed at around 10.15pm.

Fatal crash, Ōtāhuhu
Police can confirm one person has died following a two-vehicle collision on Great South Road, Ōtāhuhu yesterday evening.
The crash was reported at around 7.40pm.
Sadly, one person died at the scene.
Three people in a critical condition and one person in a moderate condition were transported to hospital.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
Fatal crash, Newstead
Police can confirm one person has died following a single-vehicle crash on Vaile Road, Newstead last night.
The crash was reported about 6.40pm.
The sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
