Serious crash, State Highway 3, Turakina
One person has died following a crash on State Highway 3, Turakina.
The crash, involving two cars, was reported to Police at 7.50am.
One person was critically injured and sadly passed away at the scene.
Two other people suffered minor injuries.
Motorists are asked to take alternative routes where possible or delay travel.
Fatal Crash, Jones Road, Rolleston
Police can now confirm one person has died following a single motorbike crash on Jones Road, Rolleston, this morning.
Emergency services responded to the scene at around 12pm.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene shortly after.
The Serious Crash Unit has conducted a scene examination and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
The road has now reopened.
