Eli Rubashkyn confirmed he/she/they has been charged with assault and summonsed to appear in the Auckland District Court.
Earlier this week Rubashkyn tweeted photos of her and another individual at Auckland International Airport about to board a flight to Sydney.
This morning she tweeted from inside a plane bound for New York.
Rubashkyn assaulted Women’s Rights campaigner Posie Parker by pouring tomato soup over her at the #LetWomenSpeak rally in Albert Park Auckland last Saturday.

Rubashkyn shared an email from police dated yesterday which confirmed they intended to file for a warrant to arrest if she did not contact them for a ‘discussion’.
‘The situation is likely escalate unnecessarily if you become the subject of an arrest warrant.’
