New Zealand skier Alice Robinson secured her second World Cup giant slalom medal in as many days, winning bronze in Sestriere, Italy, following her silver the day before.
The 23-year-old led after the first run but a costly early mistake in the second saw her drop to third, finishing behind Italy’s Federica Brignone and Switzerland’s Lara Gut-Behrami.
Despite the bittersweet result, Robinson said she was happy with her growing consistency, having reached the podium in six of the last seven World Cup giant slalom races.
She now shifts her focus to the Super G event in Norway next week.
