Arsenal extend Premier League lead with win over Crystal Palace

Eberechi Eze scored a stunning acrobatic winner against his former club as Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace 1–0 to go four points clear at the top of the Premier League.

The £67 million summer signing finished off a clever set-piece, latching onto Declan Rice’s free-kick and Gabriel’s header to fire past the Palace keeper.

Despite moments of pressure from Jean-Philippe Mateta, Palace failed to seriously test Arsenal’s defence, while Gabriel and Bukayo Saka both came close to extending the lead.

The victory marked Arsenal’s tenth unbeaten match in all competitions and showcased their growing dominance from set-pieces, with 11 goals this season coming from dead-ball situations.
