Bournemouth have completed the £10.4m signing of Hungary international midfielder Alex Toth from Ferencváros, with the 20-year-old agreeing to a five-and-a-half-year contract that includes potential add-ons of £2.6m and a 10% sell-on clause for the Hungarian champions.
Toth, who has nine senior caps for Hungary, attracted interest from Benfica, Galatasaray and Lazio before opting for a move to the Premier League, describing Bournemouth as a strong club in the world’s toughest league.
A defensive midfielder, he has played 52 matches for Ferencváros since making his debut in December 2024, scoring four goals, and previously spent the 2023–24 season on loan at Soroksár. He becomes Bournemouth’s third signing of the January transfer window.
