Dame Lisa Carrington has revealed she is expecting her first child with husband Michael Buck, marking a major personal milestone while keeping her sporting ambitions firmly in sight.
The Olympic champion confirmed the baby is due in late September, describing the news as one of the most exciting moments of her life as the couple prepare for parenthood.
The 36-year-old said pregnancy has already been a learning experience, and outlined her plans to scale back competition, including skipping the 2026 World Championships, though she still intends to race at upcoming European World Cups. Carrington also remains committed to targeting the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
