Charlie Woods, son of Tiger, claims first AJGA title with dominant final round

Charlie Woods, son of golf legend Tiger Woods, secured his first American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) victory with a commanding three-shot win at the Team TaylorMade Invitational in Florida.

Ranked 606th, the 16-year-old shot a six-under-par 66 in the final round to finish 15 under, ahead of Willie Gordon, Phillip Dunham, and Luke Colton.

It marks a major breakthrough in Charlie’s junior career, echoing his father’s early success on the same circuit.

Tiger Woods, currently sidelined after Achilles surgery, won eight AJGA titles in the early ’90s.
